Quick Money Making Ideas NOW!

One would think learning to make cash online would be a simple matter — “Make Money Online” blogs are a dime a dozen, probably because many people have successfully used them to, well, make money online.

This is primarily accomplished through use of Pay Per Click Networks (PPC) and affiliate marketing, in addition to a handful of other methods.

Unfortunately, the profitability of these blogs isn’t always directly dependent on their quality of the content, so when reading through them newcomers to the field of Internet Marketing will quickly find themselves immersed in a deluge of useless, repetitious drivel that delivers information in three varying classes:

• Poor information
• Incomplete information, and
• Just plain wrong information.

This was certainly the case when I began my own career.

My goal here is to break down the fundamentals of making money online for you as simply as possible and give you a good foundation to work off of. My target audience is those people having little to no background in Internet Marketing, who are seeking to get started making their own decent living online.

The Bottom Line

When I was doing all my initial research and reading on this subject, there did seem to be one common thread underlying everything else, and that was this:

Create a niche SEO-ed WordPress blog targeting high traffic, high CPC keywords and to fill it with useful, unique content.

For the uninitiated, here are explanations of the terminology:

• Niche - A focused targetable portion (subset) of a market. So if the market is “socks”, then your niche could be “awesome orange socks.”
• SEO - “Search Engine Optimization,” which is a series of webdesign techniques implemented with the intention of making a website rank as high as possible in search engine results pages (SERPs.)
• WordPress - A web-based blog publishing application. WP allows you to easily create and maintain a blog website without any webdesign know-how.
• CPC - “Cost Per Click“, this is a term referring to the amount paid by advertisers who are running ads funded on a “Pay Per Click” basis. In this context, a “high CPC” is considered $1.25+
• Keywords - Words and phrases users type into search engines like Google to find information.
• High Traffic - In this context, a keyword is considered “high traffic” if it is searched 10,000+ times per month.
• Content - Primarily refers to articles, written to address various subjects specfic to your niche. Can include pictures, videos && other media.

This basic outline is something everyone seems to agree on, both as a stand-alone platform to harness the monetization potential of PPC ads, and as a baseline from which to launch more elaborate, advanced (and therefore more profitable) campaigns.

Why This is Crucial If You Want To Make Cash

I think I’m right in saying about 90 - 95% of the people in the world will let a failure stop them from reaching their goals. This can be a very depressing statistic, considering the fact that failure almost always comes one step before success! It is my personal belief that with determination and purpose of mind, there is literally nothing one cannot achieve (Spiritual Internet Marketing ftw!) but I’m sure we can all agree that most people in general are conditioned to give up much too soon.

The point is, this applies just as much to making money online as it does to anything else. Many of you getting started in this occupation aren’t going to make it, for two main reasons:

1. Willingness to take “no” for an answer.
2. Excessive “dabbling,” not sticking with any one process long enough for it to bear fruit.

For these reasons, it’s of vital importance that you understand what your first steps are to be, in what order, and what to expect in terms of turn around.

What You Need To Do To Ensure Success

Find your angle, and stick with it. As I said, I believe a niche blog is the most beneficial strategy to start with — it’s easy to get into, easy to learn, && easy to monetize (ie. make cash :D). Most people will attempt Internet Marketing in addition to a full-time career, so it’s doubly important to have an approach that can be implemented during your spare time, and will still manage to produce results within a couple months.

Which brings me to another point: 99% of you won’t turn a profit in the first month, and probably not the first two or three either. Expect to, and you’ll just be shooting yourself in the foot.

Blogging is valuable because as you progress it will yield measureable results, in the form of traffic, ranking, and yes, eventually money earned. It’s those small victories that will spur you on and keep you motivated in the beginning — the first hundred unique visitors in a day; your first ranking in the top 10 of a SERP, then the top five, and eventually in the coveted #1 position; and of course, don’t forget your first affiliate sale.

As you learn and become more involved you’ll start coming up with ideas of your own, and will no doubt be tempted to drop what you’re working on in favor of the newer, “better” strategy.  Again, it’s imperitive that you remain focused on one angle and one angle only. I have a text document with 15 or more brainstorms written down that I refuse to touch until efforts on my current project are satisfactorily concluded.
